COMPTON – A man was shot and killed in Compton early Thursday evening.
The shooting occurred at approximately 6:02 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of South Whitemarsh Avenue, one block south of Alondra Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Upon arrival, deputies located a Hispanic male adult lying in the middle of the street, face down near a bicycle, according to videographers on the scene.
Compton Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information.
