Metro has a plan to ease traffic and enhance safety on the I-105, which includes the conversion of the existing High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, or carpool lane, into two Metro ExpressLanes in each direction on the I-105.
Major construction for the I-105 ExpressLanes Project is anticipated soon. In preparation for major construction, freeway travels lanes are being restriped between the I-405 and Central Av, which require directional full freeway closures in segments to safely perform this work activity.
As part of these directional freeway closures, corresponding freeway connectors, on-ramps, and off-ramps will be closed.
