LOS ANGELES – Authorities have identified a man shot to death Sunday evening in the Westmont area of unincorporated Los Angeles County.
The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West 87th Street, at Budlong Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Marvin Mitchell, 41.
There was no suspect information immediately available, but sheriff’s homicide detectives were summoned to conduct a crime scene investigation.
