COMPTON – A 20-year-old man who was found dead in Compton was identified by county authorities Saturday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Compton Station were called to the 400 block of North Long Beach Boulevard, west of East Palmer Street at 10:55 p.m. Thursday, where they found the victim, Tavari Sinclair, on the sidewalk.
Compton Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Sinclair dead, said homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
Sinclair’s cause of death was not known.
