ANAHEIM – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a man found dead inside a motel room in Anaheim, authorities said Thursday.
Officers dispatched about 10:15 a.m. Monday to the Akua Motor Inn, 1018 E. Orangethorpe Ave., regarding a person found dead inside a motel room, located a 63-year-old man with “obvious signs of traumatic injury,” the Anaheim Police Department reported.
The 63-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives identified two suspects, whom they then arrested. They are Manuel Ramos, 44, of Santa Ana, and Matthew Kundred, 28, who is homeless.
It was unclear what led detectives to suspect Ramos and Kundred.
