SOUTH SAN GABRIEL – A pedestrian killed after he was struck by a white Honda Accord in a South San Gabriel intersection was identified Sunday.
Wei Bao was 84 years old, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The crash occurred at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at San Gabriel Boulevard and Delta Street in the unincorporated area south of Rosemead, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics performed CPR on the pedestrian now identified as Bao before pronouncing him dead at the scene, the CHP reported.
It was unclear whether the motorist stopped at the scene. The intersection was closed temporarily for the investigation.
