SANTA ANA – A man was stabbed to death outside a McDonald’s restaurant in Santa Ana Sunday.
Just after 3 p.m. Sunday, police received reports of a stabbing near the intersection of Sunflower Avenue at Bristol Street, north of the San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
Officers found an unresponsive man with a stab wound in his upper torso and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A man was detained as a person of interest, but the SAPD were working to gather video surveillance from the scene to confirm he was a suspect.
