His family has established a GoFundMe to assist them during this difficult time.
”It is with a heavy heart that I am making this GoFundMe for my little brother, Matthew Alvarado. He was tragically murdered on Jan 28, 2025, as he was coming home from work. Matthew was a good person with a big heart. He was kind, friendly, lovable, and a funny person. No one ever expects something so tragic to happen, and that’s why we are starting this GoFundMe to help give my baby brother the proper burial he deserves. Thank you in advance and God bless you all.”
Anyone with information regarding the shooting was asked to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
