LOS ANGELES – Five people were injured in a possible gang-related shooting in the Westlake area of Los Angeles early this morning.

Patrol units from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division responded just after 1 a.m. to the 600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, between Sixth and Seventh Streets regarding reports of multiple gunshots. When they arrived, officers found five victims suffering from gunshot wounds, according to LAPD Officer Rosario Cervantes.
All five patients were transported to the hospital by paramedics in unknown conditions.
