2UrbanGirls,
Confirming I do not see public comments emailed to the Inglewood city clerk’s office in the city council meeting minutes. Where are they supposed to be?
Former City Attorney Ken Campos explicitly told the council they have to read public comments submitted via email to the city clerk’s office which doesn’t take place.
Additionally, City Clerk Aisha Thompson was just given her second raise, since she was elected in 2020, and isn’t attaching the public comments emailed to her office.
It’s also critical to note that you provided the public with Mayor James T. Butts Jr.’s citywide email where he defined transparency but has no problem with his colleagues and/or staff withholding information from the public.

That would be ANOTHER in a long line examples of misdirection .
Or
Residents should believe his words and disregard his actions.
Genuine transparency is not among this administration’s strengths
