LOS ANGELES – A shooting involving police officers in South Los Angeles left a suspect and two other people with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, authorities said Sunday.
Officers patrolling in the area of 114th Street and Graham Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday “encountered an armed suspect and an OIS occurred,” the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The suspect, who was struck by gunfire, was taken into custody and the suspect’s rifle was recovered at the scene, police said.
Paramedics transported the suspect and the two other people to a hospital, where they were treated for injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
No officers were injured.
