KOREATOWN – A man and a woman who police say are in their 20s were hospitalized Saturday after they were wounded in a drive-by shooting near Koreatown.
The shooting was reported at 1 a.m. at Fourth Street and Western Avenue and when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division arrived, they found the victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to an LAPD spokesman.
According to witnesses, the victims were walking near Fourth Street when a car drove up, shot at them multiple times and drove away in an unknown direction.
Both victims were taken to a hospital, where the female was listed in stable condition and the man was in an unknown condition, police said.
There was no vehicle or suspect description available.
