ARLETA – A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday evening in Arleta, near the Terra Bella Street off-ramp from the Golden State (5) Freeway.
The crash occurred at 9:21 p.m. at 14226 Terra Bella St., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
Witnesses told videographers at the scene that a white Dodge Charger was seen speeding down the street as the pedestrian was hit
The pedestrian, whose name, age and gender were not immediately disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was injured.
