ROSEMEAD – A man was killed Friday in a shooting in Rosemead.
The shooting was reported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at 2:48 a.m. and occurred in the 7700 block of Garvey Avenue, Sheriff’s officials said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
His family has identified him as Paul Pacheco, Jr.
”The man shot in Rosemead was a good, hard-working family man he went for a walk trying to avoid a family argument. We are all devastated by this news.”
Additional details were not available, including the victim’s name and motive for the shooting.
