SANTA ANA – A man was fatally wounded in a residential area of Santa Ana, authorities said Sunday.
Officers dispatched at 8:50 p.m. Saturday to 2020 S. Wood St., in response to a shooting call, located the victim suffering from several gunshot wounds, according to a Santa Ana Police Department watch commander.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died from his gunshot wounds.
Police had no approximate age of the shooting victim or any suspect information.
