”I’ve always been a writer. In fact, I own an entire children’s book series. Writing, singing, dancing, and creating have always been my escape—a place where I can craft my very own fairytale,” said Big Niq. “Becoming an artist wasn’t part of my original plan, but I wanted to share my writing with the world and show what I’m capable of. When I couldn’t get people to listen, I took matters into my own hands. I got in the studio, and now, people are starting to take notice. That said, my true passion is writing for others rather than being in the spotlight as an artist.”
“In many ways, I feel like I’m going back to the basics—back to where my journey began, before kids, before life took me in different directions. I’ve always been creative, but after becoming a mom, my life completely changed. Now, as a single woman, I’m rediscovering those passions.
