LOS ANGELES – Authorities Tuesday identified a woman who was fatally struck by a freight train in the South Los Angeles area.
The collision, involving a Union Pacific Railroad train, occurred around 7 a.m. Monday near East Florence Avenue and Graham Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Liliana Martinez-Soberano, 32, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The circumstances of her death were under investigation.
