EAST LOS ANGELES – A 55-year-old man who was shot to death in East Los Angeles was identified by county authorities Wednesday.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Ignacio Romero. Arriving paramedics pronounced Romero dead at the scene.
Deputies were dispatched at 12:25 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of Dennison Street and Hicks Avenue regarding a report of a gunshot victim at the location found a man in the street suffering from a gunshot wound, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
