Members of the newly-launched YIMBY Caucus want to boost affordable housing nationwide by pushing policies aimed at boosting the construction of those homes.

So there are 2 ways to view this concept.
1) Ca population is growing so much we need more housing and if that is true we should not be closing schools- mothballing maybe but not selling.
Or based on charting exodus of the last 4 years…..
2) Ca population is migrating to other states. Those persons were in housing… so there is no real need to allow developers to buy political privileges to build the highrise multi- unit housing to enrich themselves at taxpayer expense while previously occupied are turned to rubble
To suggest politicians are okay with growth in their backyard- so hard to say with a straight face – perhaps we should remember most live in either gated communities or single family units or in the Governor’s case a larger than most estates surrounded not by homeless but by grapes.
Sorry but with no accounting for the Homeless Tax dollars–
This idea seems more about dollars for developers than a bedroom for someone homeless.
