PALMDALE – A person was fatally struck by a Metrolink train Thursday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Fire and paramedic personnel responded to the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue M in Palmdale for a reported person struck by a train around 2:18 p.m.
Upon arrival, fire personnel located an adult victim who had been struck by a Metrolink train that was moving southbound along Sierra Highway.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
