LOS ANGELES – A man was arrested after shooting two people, one fatally, in front of a dispensary in the Hyde Park area Tuesday, police said.
The shooting was reported at about 6:15 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Florence Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A man in his mid-30s died at the scene, and a woman in her late 40s was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said. The name of the fatally wounded man was not immediately released.
The suspect, who was reported to be about 60 years old, was taken into custody, police said. His name was not immediately released.
According to police, the three people were involved in a dispute in front of the dispensary when the suspect opened fire on the others. Information on the nature of the dispute was not available.
