Hi!
Here are the documents related to the city of Inglewood mayor’s attempts to get more money for the Inglewood Transit Connector project since Congresswoman Maxine Waters pulled the plug on that $200 million in federal funds after slamming the project as being of no use to Inglewood residents.
They are meeting TODAY on this at Cal State Dominguez Hills in the Loker Student Union Rooms 326 and 327 at 6:00 p.m. Park in Lot 2 and use parking code: #1293011
The Board of Directors are scheduled to meet Thursday, October 24th, 2024 virtually via Zoom and in person.
RSVP for the meeting using this link: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIqdemtqD4rGtbjByVXITR_i2jhXNm08lVd
Or by phone dial (669) 444-9171 and enter Meeting ID: 867 2056 5102; Passcode: 895604
This should concern residents across the South Bay because the funds they need for their roads would be diverted to a transit project they don’t benefit from either. Unless this transit connector is planned to extend further down Prairie Avenue.
Please share with your network so residents can be informed.
Dionne Faulk is the delegate from the City with Mayor Butts being the alternative.
Oh and thank you for posting that video of Butts embarrassing himself at Hollywood Park the other day. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass would NEVER!
Ciao!
