INDUSTRY – A 39-year-old man who was fatally shot in Industry was identified Monday.
The shooting was reported around 10:15 a.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Capitol Avenue, near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Jose Ramos, who sustained fatal gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
It was unclear what led up to the shooting, and there was no description of a suspect.
