LOS ANGELES – A man wanted in connection with a homicide investigation was taken into custody Wednesday in the south Los Angeles area following a standoff with authorities, police said.
Officers were sent to the 600 block of West 61st Street about 4:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man was taken into custody after about three hours, police said. Information was not immediately available on the man’s identity or on the homicide that was under investigation.
