GLENDORA – A homicide investigation is underway after a man and two dogs were found dead in a Glendora house that went up in flames Monday morning.
The fire was reported about 2:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Danecroft Avenue, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Torres.
According to Fox 11, the man’s 68-year- old wife was missing. The name of the man, reportedly in his 70s, was not immediately available for release.
“We’re concerned about her welfare,” Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Steve Dejong told Fox 11. “We were told by Glendora Police Department that they were here about a month earlier in regards to a domestic violence incident.”
Dejong said family members told investigators that the man and woman were in the process of getting a divorce, and the woman is “potentially a victim,” but he declined to elaborate.
