ANAHEIM – A 44-year-old Anaheim woman has turned herself in connection with a hit-and-run collision that killed an 84-year-old pedestrian, police said Thursday.
Tania Rivas turned herself in on Wednesday, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Matt Sutter said. She was booked on suspicion of felony hit and run in connection with the collision that killed Agustine Chavez Palacios of Anaheim.
The collision occurred about 5:30 a.m. Monday at Anaheim Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue. The suspect was driving a 2020 GMC Acadia SUV when the pedestrian was killed, Sutter said.
