LOS ANGELES – A man was wounded early Monday morning when two people opened fire on him in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles.
The shooting happened at 2:06 a.m. in the 7000 block of Bonsallo Avenue at 70th Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Charles Miller.
The suspects were described as a male and female in a red Chrysler, Miller said.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital where his vital signs were stable, the officer said.
A news videographer who went to the scene said the victim was 50 years old.
