LOS ANGELES – Authorities Thursday identified a man who was found dead inside a vehicle in Highland Park.
The body was found around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the vehicle in the 800 block of North Avenue 50, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
On Thursday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the man as Enrique Mendez, 58, who was homeless. A post-mortem examination was pending to determine his cause of death.
