Laura Richardson’s campaign for State Senate is proud to announce the endorsement and support of two of California’s most powerful and influential elected officials.
Both are dedicated public servants who have amassed an impressive list of accomplishments.

Laura served with Congresswoman Waters and Mayor Bass in the US Congress and served and worked with both to deliver resources to our community as a member of the CA State Assembly.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters, a respected and influential figure in California politics, emphasized Richardson’s readiness to take on the responsibilities of the State Senate.
Waters praised Richardson’s unwavering commitment to public service and her deep understanding of the issues facing the 35th Senate District.
“Laura Richardson has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead with integrity and passion. Her extensive experience and proven track record make her the ideal candidate to represent the 35th Senate District. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass added her working alongside Richardson during her political tenure is what secured her support.

The General Election will take place on November 5. California residents have until October 21 to register to vote.
