LOS ANGELES – A homeless encampment fire was reported in the Pico-Union area of downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with the Rampart Division reported a structure fire underneath the 110 Freeway around 3:30 a.m.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the area of Oak Street and Venice Blvd.
Upon arrival, they located a homeless encampment fire burning underneath the 110 Freeway.
The fire was extinguished in just a few minutes.
