LOS ANGELES – Several gallons of water filled a South Los Angeles intersection during a street takeover early this morning in the University Park neighborhood near USC.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with the Southwest and Traffic Division responded to reports of a street takeover near the intersection of Figueroa Street and Jefferson Blvd. around 12:16 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found multiple fire hydrants spewing water across the intersection.
Los Angeles Fire Department responded and shut off the hydrants.
According to videographers at the scene, several vehicles and subjects related to the takeover were stopped, though it is unclear if any arrests were made.
