CARSON – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman pulled from the Dominguez Channel on July 28.
Her body was discovered about 6:53 p.m. in the 500 block of East Carson Plaza Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The death was deemed suspicious because the woman had obvious signs of trauma to her body, officials said.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, “the decedent was found in the Dominguez Channel in Carson on the afternoon of 7/28/2024. Her age, race/ethnicity, height, and weight are unable to be determined at this time. The decedent was wearing a sleeveless, button up “Old Navy” knit dress (size XL).”
“Large Skin tag noted to right side of torso. Stretch marks noted to lower abdomen.”
