LOS ANGELES – Authorities Friday sought the public’s help in their investigation into the death of a 19-year-old man who was brought to a hospital from Koreatown with a head injury.
Joon Hee Han died on July 25 at a hospital in Whittier, where he was being treated for an injury he apparently suffered in a fall, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

“West Bureau Homicide detectives are actively pursuing additional evidence, witness statements and other information pertaining to the incident that might help us to determine what occurred,” the LAPD statement said.
“As more information becomes available and the sequence of events that led to Joon Hee Han’s death becomes clear, we will provide additional information,” the LAPD statement said. “Until then, we must refrain from additional comment on this tragic occurrence until the facts are clear.”
