COMPTON – A 22-year-old man who was shot to death in Compton and found in a vehicle involved in a major traffic collision was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The shooting was reported about 7:05 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Bentley Avenue at East Greenleaf Boulevard.
When deputies arrived, they found the vehicle in the middle of the intersection with five men inside, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The vehicle had damage indicating it was in a major traffic collision, according to investigators.
Four men were transported to hospitals with injuries, but their conditions were unknown.
The man shot and killed at the scene was later identified by the medical examiner as Kevin Garcia Delgado of Compton.
