LOS ANGELES – At least two people were stabbed on a Metro bus in South Los Angeles Friday, and a man in his 70s was taken into custody.
The stabbing occurred at the intersection of Western Avenue and 76th Street around 2:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
At least two people were taken to the hospital following the stabbing, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The extent of their injuries remains unknown.
It was unclear what motivated the attack, and no further details were immediately available.
