MALIBU – A suspect in a stolen vehicle was taken into custody in Malibu early Saturday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with the Newton Division initiated a pursuit of a stolen white Kia Soul which started in South Los Angeles.
The pursuit continued west on the 10 Freeway before the suspects bailed on foot on Pacific Coast Highway near Topanga Canyon Blvd.
One of the suspects ran and hid in the bushes along the hillside.
After a 45-minute standoff, the suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
