WILMINGTON – A woman was stabbed to death in Wilmington early Sunday morning in an attack that also left a man wounded, and a suspect was taken into custody.
Officers were dispatched shortly after midnight to a home in the 900 block of North Banning Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
They found a 42-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was rushed to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
The suspect, a man in his 20s, was arrested. Police said it was not immediately known if the suspect and victims were related.
