LOS ANGELES – One person was injured and one was arrested Thursday after a fight broke out involving a machete in East Hollywood, police said.
Officers responded around 1:40 a.m. Thursday to reports of two people arguing in the 1300 block of North Hobart Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Two people were detained, one male was arrested after two people were fighting with a machete involved,” according to a public information officer with the department.
The motive for the fight was unclear, and information about the suspect was not immediately available, police said.
The victim’s condition was not disclosed.
