LOS ANGELES – A man was wounded Saturday in a shooting in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred about 4:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of West Florence Avenue, at Raymond Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer J. Chaves.
The victim is believed to be about 35 years old, and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg, Chaves said.
The suspects were described as three men wearing black face masks, he said. They fled in a gray Dodge Durango westbound on Florence.
