I know Orange County isn’t your primary coverage area but we have noticed you report on what’s happening around town. This latest is about a city council candidate running in the upcoming election.
Kristen Maahs is currently a commissioner and was recently endorsed by the Teamsters, and although they are diverse, and represent drivers, is it odd they would endorse someone with a history of driving under the influence?
The Teamsters are also calling for a strike against the city’s largest employer – Disneyland.
Her first DUI was recorded on January 20, 2004, where she plead guilty and six years later, she is alleged to have received another one.
Think of her as the “Andrea Alarcon” of the OC.
