LONG BEACH – One person was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Long Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 2:35 a.m. on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway at Anaheim Street.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and found the vehicle on fire.
Firefighters and paramedics discovered a body inside and pronounced deceased at the scene.
It’s not yet known whether it was a man or a woman. The person’s name was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
No other injuries were reported.
