CARSON —The City of Carson has announced the LA28 Olympic Games will feature four exciting sports at some of their world- class venues. The City will host the Olympic Cycling Track in the Velodrome in Carson, Hockey at the Fields adjacent from the Stadium, Rugby Sevens in the Stadium, and Tennis in the Tennis Center.

Together, we will embark on this journey to celebrate the power of sport and the spirit of competition, all while incorporating sustainability and inclusion.”

In the City of Carson, the world-class athletic complex that is the home to the LA Galaxy Major League Soccer team will host the sports of Cycling – Track in the Velodrome, Hockey at the Fields adjacent to the Stadium, Rugby Sevens in the Stadium, and Tennis in the Tennis Center.
The Velodrome is an Official U.S. Olympic Training Site and serves as the home track for USA Cycling’s national track and cycling program. The Fields, currently used as training grounds for the LA Galaxy, will be transformed into a world-class temporary Hockey. The Tennis Center is home to the U.S. Tennis Association’s (USTA) High-Performance Training Center and has hosted various professional Women’s Tennis championships and tournaments. Additionally, Rugby Sevens will be held in the same stadium that regularly hosts the World Rugby Sevens Series.
Carson’s velodrome previously hosted Cycling – Track at the 1984 Games.
