SAN PEDRO – A body was found Thursday at the bottom of a cliff in San Pedro, authorities said.
Firefighters located a person deceased near the bottom of the cliffs below Point Fermin Park at about 4:49 p.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
An LAFD rescue helicopter assisted personnel from the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Officer of Medical Examiner by hoisting the body and then landing near the Korean Bell for patient transfer and investigation.
The person’s age and gender were not immediately available.
