LENNOX – Authorities have identified a teen who was fatally shot near Inglewood on July 6.
The shooting was reported at 4:08 p.m. Saturday in the 10800 block of Buford Avenue, near Lennox Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The boy was taken to a hospital by an unknown person and was pronounced dead, sheriff’s officials said.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as 16-year-old Erick Salazar Flores.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were conducting a crime scene investigation, officials said.
