PALMDALE – Ten people were injured, some children, in a two-vehicle crash on Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale Sunday evening.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 8:05 p.m. Sunday and occurred on Pearblossom Highway at Small Road.
Two patients were listed in critical condition, two had moderate injuries and six had minor injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which responded to the scene.
A news videographer at the scene said the critical patients were flown to hospitals by helicopter.
Video showed a white SUV with major front-end damage and a silver Nissan sedan that appeared to have been T-boned and pushed off the side of the road. Children were reportedly riding in both vehicles.
A witness told the CHP that one vehicle was on Small Road trying to make a left turn onto Pearblossom Highway.
