LOS ANGELES – One person was killed and six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the Jefferson Park community of South Los Angeles, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 3:20 a.m. on the eastbound freeway at Arlington Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location at 3:23 a.m. pronounced one person dead at the scene and rushed six people to hospitals, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. No information was available on their conditions.
There was no other immediate information available.
