LOS ANGELES – About 50 people involved in a street takeover turned their attention on looting an auto parts store Monday morning in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles.
About 50 people broke the glass and entered the Auto Zone store at 3:50 a.m. at Century Boulevard and Hoover Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar.
Video on Fox 11 showed cans and other items dropped outside the store by suspects in their haste to get away.
Officers pursued one vehicle to Pepper Street and Sycamore Avenue in El Segundo where one suspect was taken into custody, Cuellar said.

Theft should NEVER be dismissed.
That some accept it as normal contributes to thieves acting as if it is.
And who pays for the loss ?
We all do in higher prices when insurance for businesses in our neighborhoods go up, and inconvenience because stores do not want to operate in our communities.
None of us should accept bad behavior as normal.
This isnt news this is typical behavior for that area.
