AZUSA – One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash involving a semi truck on the Foothill (60) Freeway in Azusa, authorities said Tuesday.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to the westbound freeway and Azusa Avenue at 10:28 p.m. Monday where they found the damaged vehicles and the victim, according to CHP Officer told Sergio Garcia.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not immediately known what caused the crash.
The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of four lanes of the westbound freeway for several hours while they investigated the crash.
