COMPTON – A man was fatally shot in Compton and sheriff’s homicide detectives Thursday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Sheriff’s deputies responded at 10:54 p.m. Wednesday to the 800 block of North Rose Avenue near East Elm Street, where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Michael Modica.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
