WILMINGTON – Two people are in critical condition after being struck by gunfire Sunday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers with the Harbor Division responded to the 800 block of W. Pacific Coast Highway to investigate a shooting around 2:30 a.m.
Two victims, described as a 23-year-old Hispanic male and another Hispanic male in his 40s, were located suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were both transported to local hospitals in critical condition.
According to LAPD Media Relations, an altercation broke out near a local restaurant and a male suspect opened fire and shot the two victims.
Two other female suspects were also involved in the altercation. They were all last seen fleeing in a vehicle.
This incident is being considered gang-related by the LAPD.
